Description:
Get a
good look at American car history folks!! For all
you car enthusiasts and Chevy fans who know their
old school cars, you were right – it’s a 1967
Chevrolet Camaro. For those who are familiar with
classic Chevy’s or Camaro’s, 1967 was the first year
that the Camaro was introduced to the American
car-buying public. 1967 has become a historically
important and valuable year for the Camaro because
in 2002 General Motors ended production of the
Camaro line – bringing to an end the car’s 35-year
production run.
Engine
Details:
The
engine is an original Chevy small block 327 V8. The
block had been decked, honed, and squared. There
are a combination of 1.6 ratio rollers and 7/16
studs on the intake valves and a 1.5 ratio, 3/8 stud
on the exhaust. The rocker studs have all been
tapped and threaded using 1 1/4 inch dual comp
springs. The transmission has been changed from a 2
speed Powerglide to a 4 speed M21 Munsing Bad Ass.
The original 373 gears have been replaced with a
massive 456 gear. The heads are original camel
humps (2.02 / 1.60 - no cracks anywhere) with a
62-4cc combustion chamber. They are in mint
condition. The Edelbrock carburetor has been ported
with an Edelbrock Teratula TM1 Manifold. The dual
timing chain that was originally in the car has been
replaced with Pete Jackson timing gears.
